- i get to wash my hair in the morning. i can’t wait to stop smelling like perm solution. and then it’s laundry day! #

- last nite i gave TGF a new vocab word: pithy. as in, you are so NOT when you’re telling a story at 3 in the morning. #URnotlikeyourmomatall. #
- day 2 without coffee. what am i trying to prove here? that i can get a whopping headache midday? must. buy. more. beans. now. #
- ugh. hormones. frakking mood swings. now is not the time. cream cheese frosting by the spoonful–that ought to help. that, and coffee. lots. #
- i didn’t think anyone actually used the term chinaman. i mean like for real in a conversation. yikes #
- driving to the hotel, windows down, smelling the surf, paradise city on the radio. life is good. #
- TGF is out on the town with her hawaii friends. guess i’m going out to explore and find some food…bring on the abc stores! #
- but first i’m stuck in front of the TV watching vh1′s top 100 songs of the 90s. u2′s ONE is not #1. what!?!!! so now i have to see what is. #
- honolulu is crazy. so many people & i’m starting to talk like everyone around me… enjoyed the pan-pacific festival this pm. time for beer! #
- i think my vacation is going to be one giant beer crawl. just had a wailua wheat ale. tasty! #
- haupia is not my favorite. even if you put it in mochi. oh well. time to repack our bags and head out to maui! #
- vacations are exhausting. got to our living space for the next 8 days, unpacked, picked up groceries & dinner (& BEER). now a shower & bed. #

- recaulked upstairs bathtub today, partially severed a toe in the process. not really, but it was rather bloody. shoulda worn shoes. #
- poor me. can’t wear shoes. good thing i have a collection of flipflops. stoopid cut on my toe. #
- if i have to wait til i’m not annoyed/upset to write an email, i’ll never send one again. BUT, sending & then apologizing is not ok either. #
- it’s 10am & i’ve already been up for 4 hours & driven 57 miles. made breakfast for TGF & had a fledgling bird adventure. phew! now, to work! #
- WTH happened to the last 3 hours? now i’m late. i hate it when contractors are late so now i’m mad at myself for losing track of time… #
- home now. wondering what we should do for dinner. i’m starving but TGF is still working…maybe i’ll just eat the box of butterfinger minis. #
